Costa added to Ferrari Driver Academy

Nineteen-year-old Brazilian Nicolas Costa is the latest driver to join the ranks of the Ferrari Driver Academy after winning the Formula Future Fiat championship this year.

Jules Bianchi, Mirko Bortolotti and Daniel Zampieri are among drivers on Ferrari's books, getting occasional tests with the Formula One team and support in their respective racing series. As his prize for winning the Formula Future Fiat title, a championship backed by Felipe Massa, Costa will be added to the driver development programme in 2011.

"All drivers would love to drive a Ferrari and I still cannot believe what has happened," he said. "Being able to count on the backing of such a professional team is a dream come true."
