A Toro Rosso transporter was involved in an accident with another lorry en route to the Spa-Francorchamps circuit for the Belgian Grand Prix.
The incident occurred near Duren in Germany, as another lorry collided with the rear of the Toro Rosso transporter which was carrying the minibuses used by team staff. A driver was reported to have sustained minor injuries in the accident. A section of the road was closed in order to allow the damage to be cleared, with police estimating the cost at £105,000.
The incident will not impact on Toro Rosso's preparations for the Belgian Grand Prix as the team's cars and race equipment were not involved.
