Felipe Massa is willing to draw a line under his spat with Lewis Hamilton, but still believes the McLaren driver was completely at fault for their collision at the Singapore Grand Prix.
Hamilton tagged Massa's right rear tyre while attempting an overtaking move on lap 12, resulting in a puncture for the Ferrari and a broken front wing on the McLaren. The incident resulted in both drivers dropping down the order, but Hamilton was able to recover to fifth while Massa struggled to ninth.
Massa said he tried to talk to Hamilton immediately after the race but the McLaren driver "walked away without even answering". He then confronted Hamilton in the TV interview area and tugged on his shoulder before sarcastically congratulating him.
The quarrel has attracted extensive media attention since Sunday, but on Monday Massa said he is ready to put it behind him.
"I am very disappointed with the way things went yesterday: Singapore is definitely not a lucky place for me, given something always happens to me here," he told Ferrari's website. "As for Hamilton and his behaviour both off and on the track, I have already told him all I had to say: I have not changed my opinion by one iota since yesterday, but I consider the matter to be closed.
"Better to think about the next race and about trying to finish this difficult season in a good way, as well as preparing as well as possible for the next one."
Hamilton has not commented on the issue and did not turn up to his usual media briefings on Sunday evening.
