Rubens Barrichello has set the fastest time seen so far in Jerez on the final day of testing. He set a lap of 1:19.832 seconds, more than a second clear of Ferrari's Fernando Alonso
The morning session has been a stop-start affair after three red flags. Jerome d'Ambrosio and then Nico Rosberg stopped out on track while Kamui Kobayashi spun his Sauber into the gravel.
It is also a big day for Bruno Senna who has been given his chance to impress by Renault after Nick Heidfeld enjoyed such a successful day on Saturday.
